4chan now accepts cryptos for purchasing passes

Crypto enthusiasts among the 4chan tribe can now pay an annual 4chan pass, allowing them to get around the captcha verification method when posting on the site.

The 4chan forum is a community platform where people talk about all kinds of subjects, including politics, anime, video games and memes.

Lovers of digital assets were pleasantly surprised by a great improvement last week. 4chan has launched payment with four cryptocurrencies, thanks to the Coinbase Commerce API. “4channers” can now buy a $20 yearly pass by using  Bitcoin Core (BTC), Bitcoin Cash (BCH), Litecoin (LTC) and Ethereum (ETH), as well as using fiat money.

4chan has established its authority as the best anonymous posting community. Captcha verification has been implemented to prevent random script bots from spamming the forum. A “pass” lets registered users use 4chan without entering captcha verifications for an entire year. Those passes are a way for the community to fund the platform.

Crypto enthusiasts on other community sites widely approved 4chan’s initiative to support cryptocurrencies as a payment method. Numerous Reddit and Twitter publications have shown their love for the motherland of various memes, including Pepe the frog, Doge, The “Forever alone” guy, Trollface, Me Gusta and many others.
