Global Gold Vaults Enter Security Audit with QuillAudits, Targets Token-Gated Early Access

by Marsha Tusk

Global Gold today announced that Global Gold Vaults has officially entered a security audit with QuillAudits, a Web3 security firm. The audit is a key milestone before broader community onboarding. The company says engineering is essentially complete, and it expects to open limited, token-gated early access by the end of the month, pending audit outcomes.

Global Gold Vaults are designed to merge self-sovereign custody with the usability of today’s most trusted multisig tools. Each vault is represented by a unique NFT, enabling seamless ownership transfer without re-deploying wallets or migrating assets. The system also introduces a Guardian security model, configurable co-signers who protect assets without holding them, reducing the single point of failure that has long challenged self-custody.

“Our vision is simple to say and demanding to deliver: Your Gold. Your Keys. Your Guardians,” said Cole Chapman, CEO of Global Gold. “Custody should be sovereign by default, and operations should feel as intuitive as today’s best multisig tools. Our goal is to set a new baseline for institutions and crypto-native teams that need high assurance without adding operational drag.”

QuillAudits confirmed that its reviewers have begun work on Global Gold’s vault system. The firm said its engagement will include comprehensive testing and analysis over the coming weeks, after which it plans to share audit findings in a report so the community can evaluate the results.

“Global Gold’s design presents a thoughtful security model for digital asset management,” said Preetam, CEO and Co-founder of QuillAudits.“Our mandate is to verify that the user-friendly experience is grounded in robust security properties. Over the coming weeks, our team will carry out comprehensive testing and analysis across the protocol’s surface area and publish a clear report so stakeholders have the transparency they need.”

The initial release of Global Gold Vaults is positioned as a catalyst for the industry, an upgrade to the familiar Safe-style workflow. At launch, the product is expected to deliver sovereign, user-controlled custody alongside multi-signature protection, NFT-based vault identity, and Guardian co-signing for resilience without custodial risk. This enables clean, on-chain ownership transfer without re-deploying wallets or migrating assets, while retaining the day-to-day usability teams already know.

The $12 trillion gold market and the wider digital asset economy demand custody infrastructure that is secure, recoverable, and trust-minimized. By combining real-world gold tokenization with decentralized self-custody, Global Gold aims to provide the financial backbone for a new, programmable gold economy.

Austin Seiberlich, Chief Web3 Officer of Global Gold said: “The Guardian system was the breakthrough I knew we needed. By introducing trusted co-signers who don’t hold your assets but protect them, we’ve created a custody model that is both sovereign and resilient. Guardians turn self-custody from a single point of failure into a network of protection.”
