Following the massive success of last year, the Bitcoin conference is back, with massive support from one of the biggest Bitcoin proponents in the globe.
The four-day event, held in Miami Beach Convention Center will gather over 35,000 attendees, which will have access to several stages, including the Nakamoto (main) stage, as well as the Open-source, Mining, Genesis, Satoshi, and the Enterprise stages.
The main focus of the Nakamoto stage, according to the event’s agenda is based on the future of Bitcoin both as a means of transporting value across the blockchain, as well as transforming fiat economies into digital ones using the world’s largest crypto to date.
During the four days of conferencing, the attendees have the one-off chance to cover everything from how the legacy financial system, institutions, and infrastructure are colliding with Bitcoin (and where they’re falling short in their strategies), to a detailed exploration of the mining industry, to how the developer community will continue to intersect with both companies and open-source projects.
A total of 6,000 global industry leaders and 80+ speakers will take part in the Industry Day, scheduled for April 6, giving attendees the chance to meet and greet with top executives in the Bitcoin ecosystem and beyond, high-net-worth individuals, VCs, funds, family offices, investors and startups.
One of the biggest pros in joining the Industry Day is the ability to pitch your idea to a set of industry-leading judges, including managing partners and directors, as well as heads of global leaders in the fintech world.
The next two days are allocated to conferencing, with many of the top Bitcoin supporters added as keynote speakers.
One of the most interesting names in the speakers' list is the President of El Salvador Nayib Bukele, who was the first national leader to legalize Bitcoin as a legal tender in his country, Furthermore, Bukele’s administration offers its residents access to a custom wallet, dubbed “Chivo”. Despite the several hiccups along the road of embracing Bitcoin, Bukele is confident that his decision may bring the much-needed change in the way the traditional finance sector operates.
Alongside Bukele, many other interesting speakers will present their views on Bitcoin, including Adam Back, CEO of Blockstream, U.S. Senator Cynthia Lummis, the Lightning Labs CEO Elizabeth Stark, Microstrategy’s CEO and Chairman Michael Saylor, PayPal’s co-founder Peter Thiel, as well as many CEOs, VPs, founders and managing partners from trending and established blockchain-oriented companies.
The last day of conferencing is preserved for fun times with some of the leading names in the music industry like Deadmau5, Steve Aoki, Logic, CL, Run the Jewels, and many more.
Registration for the event is open for everyone, with different tiers of entry starting at just $110.
As expected, attendees can purchase their passes with Bitcoin, which saves them anywhere between 10% and 33% of the standard price.
Furthermore, the Bitcoin conference organizers added a special tier, dubbed the WhalePass, which grants investors and attendees, who purchase the pack a complete, all-in-one, tailored experience, which adds VIP feeling to the four days of conferencing.
