India Blockchain Week (IBW), the country’s flagship series of blockchain and Web3 events spanning from Dec.4-10 in Bangalore, is delighted to share that the week-long Web3 gathering has been a roaring success. The jam-packed week featured 100+ Web3 events including flagship events such as the headline IBW’23 Conference, ETHIndia, Polygon Connect, Polkadot Pulse, FILBangalore, networking events, workshops, a demo day, 10+ hackathons, parties, etc. hosted by Indian & global blockchain industry stakeholders. It presented the attendees with unparalleled opportunities for networking, collaboration, and discussion.

Given that the event was based in Bangalore, India, many were interested in Web3 projects coming out of the Indian blockchain scene. The Indian startup ecosystem has transitioned from leveraging cost advantages to driving global innovation, including in Web3. India's interest in Web3 is primarily driven by its young and tech-savvy population who are looking at web3 as the next big thing in the age of the internet.
