PwC is better known for some of its other services such as audit and assurance, but they provide marketing consulting work as well.
By training its employees, the company will be able to respond adequately to the needs of its customers. In addition, the implementation of blockchain technologies will contribute to the cost reduction and optimization of task performance within the company, also beneficial to customers.
PwC entered the market of digital services offering back in 2014 and is currently working with clients from a variety of industries around the world.
In March 2018, when the project was launched, PwC opened up equal opportunities for all of its 46,000 employees to participate. Out of all, a total of 3,500 applied and at the end, only 1,000 were selected to begin training.
Among the 1000 employees, 100 are marketing consultants and are directly related to clients on a daily basis. Sixteen of them are in marketing and sales teams who deal with improving the company‘s digital skills. The employees will attend 10 hourly courses each week for the next two years, starting with data collection and analytics on the blockchain.
