ETHTaipei 2026, Taiwan's annual Ethereum developer conference, will take place September 13-14 at POPOP Taipei. The organizers today announced the two-day keynote lineup: Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin will open Cryptonative Day on September 13, and Taiwan Mobile General Manager Jamie Lin (林之晨) will keynote Institution Day on September 14, connecting Ethereum's core technology with industry adoption in Taiwan. Applications are now open for a limited number of free tickets to ETHTaipei 2026.
Vitalik to open Cryptonative Day
Cryptonative Day, dedicated to the Ethereum builder community, will open with a keynote by Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin. The day will cover protocol and core development, Layer 2 scaling, zero-knowledge proofs and privacy, wallets and account abstraction, DeFi, consumer and social applications, security, and developer tooling.
Jamie Lin to open Institution Day
Institution Day, built for banks and financial institutions, will open with a keynote by Taiwan Mobile General Manager Jamie Lin. The day is planned around institutional wallets and custody, digital-asset and smart-contract security, stablecoin risk management, RWA and tokenized U.S. equities, machine finance driven by AI agents, and chain selection for financial institutions. The full timetable will be published on the official website once confirmed.
"Crypto is meeting the real world, and what makes that possible is the research and engineering behind it. That is the core of ETHTaipei 2026," said Martinet of the ETHTaipei organizing team.
Speaker lineup continues to grow
Beyond the two keynotes, ETHTaipei 2026 will feature speakers from leading projects including Polymarket (global prediction market), Uniswap (decentralized exchange protocol), the Ethereum Foundation, ChainSafe (blockchain infrastructure), LINE NEXT, CertiK (blockchain security), OneSavie Labs, Quantstamp (smart-contract auditing), Fluidkey, Morpho, imToken Labs, PIF12, and Swarm Protocol. These teams will cover protocol research, DeFi, privacy, security, and consumer applications. Additional speakers will be announced.
Taiwan Mobile joins as Gold sponsor
ETHTaipei 2026 is supported by companies and institutions across the ecosystem. Gold sponsors include financial-institution blockchain and digital-asset infrastructure company BSOS, the Digital Asset Development Research Center (DADRC), decentralized prediction market Sigmarket, and Taiwan Mobile. Silver sponsors include TS Holdings, smart-contract security firm Quantstamp, and KlickKlack.
