BitStake XBS was a cryptocurrency aimed at the population in Africa. The organization wanted to
become a digital currency savings account, a marketplace for trading and a peer to peer lending
system. BitStake‘s goal was to bring the blockchain technology to unbanking people. There were no
monthly fees, transactions were fast, and payments were made even on offline mobile devices. The
platform has a coin supply of 1,302,440 XBS. Unfortunately after ten months of existing developers
shut down the project because of company changes. Even though the developers aren‘t working on
BitStake, the platform has an open source software, so there is a possibility in the future to be
