Gnosis is a decentralized prediction market built on the Ethereum network. It provides a prognosis on uncertain future events, products, companies and many more.

Forecasting Markets gather information by using the predictions made by users about future events. Users then trade tokens that represent their assumption of the future result. After some time, when more information is collected, some tokens gain more value than others and increase their price. Once the event is held, and the result is clear, the winner tokens end up getting their full value, and the other tokens lose everything. The app Gnosis created for their prediction platform is called Olympia. Users can participate in the trading market and in exchange will win GNO rewards if they make accurate predictions. The Managment Interface is the place where users can buy and sell their shares in the prediction market. The Gnosis Safe Enterprise Edition and Personal Edition are the wallets for the platform in which users can hold their Ether and other ERC-20 tokens.

Gnosis was started in 2015 by Martin Köppelmann, Stefan George and Dr. Friederike Ernst.
