Growers International (GRWI) is a cryptocurrency that was released on 18 June 2017. It was made to support the cannabis growers and to secure their business, by using the blockchain network as a channel for the trades. Growers International is specially designed to benefit the traders and the growers. This currency won’t allow the user to be completely anonymous, unlike many others. The users need to create a Grower ID if they want to work with the platform. This happens by registering in the system and paying an additional fee. Only the Growers International may create and freeze the Grower ID. Because the organization wants to make sure that the growers are real - they create Plant ID as well. The grower never holds the Plant ID, it is in the contract, and stays to a plant during its life. The last ID that needs to be mentioned is called Sales ID. It uses the information from the past ID’s and forms a contract with them for selling or buying. This way it is easy to understand who’s the grower and whose plants are you buying.
