Private Instant Verified Transaction (PIVX) is a cryptocurrency that is focusing on privacy and uses Proof of Stake (PoS) instead of Proof of Work (PoW) system for block consensus. It allows you to earn PIVX as a reward by just keeping them in your online
wallet (aka "staking").
PIVX is based on DASH and is similar to it in technical features such as masternodes, decentralized governance, private coinjoin method-based transfer, and instant send. DASH was a Bitcoin fork that was improving BTC; therefore PIVX is an even better Bitcoin fork since it is a DASH fork that was made to improve it.
Private Instant Verified Transaction is trying to be the first cryptocurrency to implement the Zerocoin protocol with non-optional minting. PIVX is also enforcing full-time zerocoin minting transactions by default, which makes every transaction untraceable.Comments
