Rupee RUP is a cryptocurrency that has a blockchain at its core and uses a peer to peer network to enable instant digital exchanges. It is a modified version of the Scrypt PoW (proof of work) mining algorithm, which was initially created for an online backup service that goes by the name of Tarsnap. That specific Scrypt algorithm infers a key from a password. It was chosen by Rupee because it is suitable for a general purpose processor called Lyra2REv2. RUP is run on the DASH blockchain, which allows the implementation of many dynamic features, including POS.The company was started back in May 2017, and the Initial Coin Offering is supposed to be soon after the release of the new website in June 2018. There are a total number of 30 million RUP. Rupee has a PrivateSend and InstantSend features.
