UpToken is a currency which is released to be used only in crypto ATM devices. CoinMe is the company behind Up, and the main idea of the company is to create ATMs for cryptocurrencies. It successfully installed the first device in 2014. In fact, UpToken is a currency which is meant to be a reward for the people who are using the devices. CoinMe is using 1% of every transaction fee, which is given to the customer as a 1% “cash back” reward. The customers can use their UpToken to receive 30% discounts on the ATM fees, by paying with Up. The disadvantage of this currency is that the user cannot withdraw the money collected as a reward until the amount reaches $10,000. There are 10 billion UpTokens created, but currently, only 8 billion will be released for sale, due to the small number of ATM devices. The rest of them will be held until there are more ATM devices created. For now, those ATM devices are located only in the United States, but the information about new devices and their location will be released on UpToken's official site.
