EOS is an ICO focused on the need for improving the current state of the blockchain applications. This happens by creating an operating system that applications are built on. The platform provides a database, authentication, and usage of application throughout many computers or clusters. The platform aims to fix bugs of the apps in the blockchain network and to provide low latency along with good user experience. The ICO stage uses tokens which are not owned by EOS, rather than tokens that are already on the blockchain network.
