InsurePal is a P2P blockchain insurance platform. It uses IPL tokens as currency. They are built on the ERC20 standard. InsurePal went public with the ICO of IPL on 16th of January 2018. The soft cap was set to 5 million USD, and the hard cap was set at 18 million USD. The hard cap was reached. The price of the token was 0.1 USD. There were 201 million tokens available during the crowd sale (from 300 million in total). The rest of the tokens are distributed as follows: 10% for the founders, 6% for the InsurePal team, 6% TCS support team, 6% advisors and ambassadors, 3% for contributors and 2% early investors in the pre-sale. The tokens were issued immediately after the ICO.
