RainCheck was created in November 2014 to allow online-to-offline trade (O2O). The platform is designed to influence and measure the high level of discovering/researching online products, and linking these findings to the relevant deals in the stores. They also offer a map link where people can add bids, loyalty points, or redeem any debit or credit card, replacing the loyalty card. The RainCheck platform, when fully developed, will provide a decentralized system where token holders will be able to manage and gather reward points in multiple loyalty schemes. To make this possible, RainCheck will provide users with the ability to combine pay points from multiple loyalty schemes into one digital unit - RAIN Token. RAIN Token was created to implement a mechanism for transferring the RainCheck Commerce Platform. This token is based on the Stellar Protocol, which is specially created to allow micro-payments at a very fast speed of transaction and at a very low cost.
