ChainCulture 2025 set to Unite Web3 and Culture in Kuala Lumpur
ChainCulture 2025, a new global event exploring the intersection of Web3, creativity, and culture, will take place on October 17, 2025 at Glasshouse at Seputeh in Kuala Lumpur. Billed as an open, one-day festival for builders, creators, curators, investors, and cultural stewards across all blockchain ecosystems, ChainCulture is designed to foster cross-chain connection and collaboration. The gathering is presented by the organizers of HiveFest – the annual Hive blockchain community conference – as part of HiveFest Week in Kuala Lumpur, and will be free to attend with required registration.
Embracing the motto “Where blockchains meet humans. Across chains. Across ideas. On the ground. Together.”, ChainCulture aims to break down silos between disparate blockchain communities and put people at the center of the Web3 conversation. “It’s not about shilling. It’s about sharing. Not just tech but values, vibes, and vision,” the event’s program description emphasizes. In contrast to typical tech conferences, the focus will be on cultural exchange, creativity, and human connection powered by decentralized technology. Kuala Lumpur’s selection as host city underscores Southeast Asia’s growing importance as a crypto-friendly, culturally vibrant region aligned with ChainCulture’s mission of unity and inclusivity.

For attendees, ChainCulture promises a rich “jungle of inspiration” – a vibrant mix of content and experiences, including:
- Engaging Web3 talks & panels: Insights from blockchain builders, artists, and community leaders on the creative and human sides of decentralized tech.
- Interactive demos & art showcases: Live demonstrations of blockchain projects, NFT art exhibitions, zines, and creative installations blending technology with culture.
- Community networking & “side quests”: Casual breakout activities and challenges designed to spark spontaneous collaboration among “DAO minds, open source rebels, token philosophers, and decentralized dreamers”.
- Festival-like atmosphere: An open, IRL setting where all are welcome – “all open, all human” – fostering genuine connections across chains beyond the usual conference buzz.
“Our goal with ChainCulture is to put the human element first in Web3,” said Roeland Pe, organizer of ChainCulture and founder of HiveFest. “For too long, crypto events have been dominated by hype and token promotions. We want to create something different – a space where communities share knowledge and culture, not just shill tech.” According to Pe, ChainCulture extends an open invitation to everyone passionate about the future of decentralization – from hardcore developers and DAO builders to artists and curious newcomers. “We’re building a creative commons for Web3, where ideas can collide and new collaborations emerge organically,” he added. “By bringing together diverse voices and projects under one roof, we hope to inspire a cross-pollination of ideas that transcends any single blockchain.”
The official event description paints ChainCulture as “a jungle of inspiration” filled with talks, art, and “spontaneous collisions” among eclectic participants. This manifesto-like vision reflects a broader ethos shared with HiveFest, the Hive blockchain’s own annual gathering. ChainCulture effectively expands the HiveFest experience beyond the Hive ecosystem, opening up the dialogue to the wider Web3 world. “ChainCulture brings together communities across ecosystems to connect, learn, and inspire” in an environment where “it’s not about shilling… but sharing” knowledge and vision across chains.
Public registration for ChainCulture 2025 is now open via the official website (ChainCulture.cc), and attendance is free of charge. The organizers welcome media, developers, creators, and blockchain enthusiasts of all stripes to join this unique cultural tech convergence. By hosting the event in Malaysia – a nation emerging as a regional hub for blockchain innovation – ChainCulture also offers international guests an opportunity to experience Southeast Asia’s dynamic crypto community and culture firsthand.
