One of the largest online international payment services, Currency Direct, announced the successful trial of Ripple's xRapid platform.

This is the first standard brick-and-mortar cash-related financial association that opens up to cryptocurrency solutions.

Currencies Direct are introducing a game-changer to the international payment services, as in the near future its customers will be able to complete payments across the globe in seconds, compared with the 3-to-5-day time current time frame. This will be possible thanks to Ripple’s xRapid solution.

Brian Harris, the CFO at Currency Direct, excited over the successful trial transaction stated that the company will crystalize its strategy and next steps in transforming its services in association with Ripple. The results of the test show the distinct advantage of the XRP utilization, making money transfers as quick as possible and fundamentally enhancing the added value to its customers.

Mr. Harris added: “We aim to offer the ideal assets administration. We trust that cryptocurrencies and traditional forms of money, as an exchange of value, rather than a store of value – is the future of our industry. It is the proposed reason for cryptocurrencies and we're pleased to use innovation to convey the most helpful and consistent experience for our clients.”

This marks the start of a new era for the business and unmistakably indicates how FinTech organizations like Currencies Direct are altering the monetary administration division. Companies like Currencies Direct and Western Union are driving a new force in global money transfers, and the future holds further expansion of crypto payments adopted by businesses.
