The annual meeting of business and society with the authorities – Powers Summit – will take place at Sofia Tech Park.

Ministers, leaders of parliamentary parties, experts, and representatives of civil society will gather in an open dialogue about the future of Bulgaria and Europe.

This year’s focus is on “Security” – in all its dimensions, ranging from competitiveness and defense capabilities, through education and healthcare, to energy, financial, and technological security. In an uncertain world, building secure states and alliances becomes critically important!

Dubbed by the media as the “Bulgarian Davos,” Powers Summit is Bulgaria’s independent platform where industry and business leaders openly set forth their priorities before those in power. Leaders of the parliamentary parties and representatives of the executive branch listen and commit to concrete and measurable actions to find solutions.

The event is fully transparent, and the commitments made are tracked for implementation afterward – in front of the cameras and microphones of all major national media, as well as before leading industry figures and representative organizations.

Each topic follows a four-module format:

• “Industry Speaks” – here, industries within the theme present their shared priorities and the solutions to achieve them.
  
  
• “Business Leaders Speak” – partner companies showcase their solutions and speak on behalf of their organizations.
  
  
• “I Hear You” – a session where leaders of the parliamentary parties commit to what they have heard. Only 3 minutes each, with no political rhetoric.
  
  
• Ministerial “I Hear You” Session – the relevant minister for the theme shares, in 3 minutes, what has been heard on behalf of the executive branch.

Powers Summit is organized jointly by the Webit Foundation and the National Digital Coalition, in partnership with leading industry, employer, and sector organizations, as well as NGOs. Attendance is limited and granted by invitation only, with prior registration required at www.PowerSummit.eu.
