Following Ripple’s partnership triumph with Santander in launching OnePay FX, the cryptocurrency follows the trend of the company in building momentum with two major global partnerships – Apple and Propy.

Well known for introducing new technology mainstream to a significant part of the global consumer market, Apple integrated Ripple’s Interledger Protocol two months ago to its Apple Pay. Now, the crypto community sees another step on the way to an Apple–Ripple partnership, as XRP has been added as a payment method to the iOS Stocks application in its latest update last May.

XRP is the third cryptocurrency that enters Apple’s world of payment options, following Bitcoin and Ethereum. Users are allowed to pay with traditional cash, including Euros, US Dollars, Japanese Yen, Canadian Dollars, and Indian Rupees.

This comes at perfect timing, now that Coinome, one of India’s largest crypto markets, also allowed XRP trading. Ripple has a considerable advantage in this market: it’s a fast, cheap, and secure cryptocurrency – particularly important for the enterprise sector. As one of the world’s most tech-savvy countries and fast-developing fintech industry, India is a great opportunity for Ripple, although there are certain regulatory uncertainties. The company is working around these at the moment through the implementation of the xCurrent payment system, aiming to develop further in the regions.

This combination of events and partnerships is expected to boost XRP’s worldwide positions, making it even easier to access, as Apple user can now easily get their hands on some tokens and trade them on the iOS Stocks app at any time and place.

Meanwhile, Ripple is also paving the way to a successful partnership with the global leader in property transactions completed through blockchain – Propy.

In this partnership, once again XRP is the third allowed cryptocurrency that sits next to two of the main cryptocurrencies in the world – Bitcoin and Ethereum, thanks to its essential features of security and speed.

Although 2018 has seen plenty of dynamics for Ripple, with a couple of slumps and rises, the two partnerships prove their ability to stay among the big players in the industry and have been implementing an ambitious strategy to raise further their positive image.

Alongside the partnerships with Apple, Propy, and Santander, the company has implemented its solutions with other global partners and leaders in the financial industry, including Western Union.

Signs clearly show that Ripple is aiming high and its cryptocurrency and technology solutions will be used in many more applications.
