The first edition of the Malta Blockchain Awards has recognized the Maltese digital asset exchange OKEx as "Crypto Exchange of the Year.”

The awards ceremony took place during the Malta Blockchain Summit 2018, and it awards the outstanding efforts in the crypto field performed by leaders, experts, and companies throughout the year.

Head of Operations of OKEx's, Andy Cheung, expressed his gratitude for the awards as a whole, saying that they “reflect a vote of confidence from industry leaders, who recognize our ongoing efforts.“

Continuing onto his company’s international recognition, Cheung said: “Receiving this honor is truly a testament to our unrelenting effort in making changes in the crypto and blockchain industry. We never stop innovating to create the best user experience, to build a robust ecosystem, to improve the crypto industry, and above all, to revolutionize our world with blockchain technology.”

The winner and its fellow finalists - Binance and BitBay – were judged by 32 industry professionals with recognized expertise and experience.
