Powers Summit 2025 “Power, Listen!” Announces Program And Key Participants
On 9 December 2025, the fifth edition of Powers Summit – the independent platform for open dialogue between business, civil society and government, widely known in the media as the “Bulgarian Davos” – will take place at Sofia Tech Park.
The event will be opened by Ms. Yordanka Chobanova, Head of the European Commission's Representation in Bulgaria. Among the special guests are Admiral Ihor Voronchenko, Chief Commander of the Ukrainian Navy (2016–2020), and Giora Eiland, Former Head of Israel’s National Security Council (2004–2006).

Members of Parliament from GERB, DPS – New Beginning, “We Continue the Change”, BSP, ITN, and others, together with their expert teams, will participate in key discussions on defence and security, healthcare, energy, education, and competitiveness during the traditional “We Hear You” session, in which they commit to short, concrete and measurable actions on priorities set by the industry.
Business and Industry
The stage will welcome dozens of leaders from industrial, business and industry organizations, including representatives of leading international and Bulgarian companies, professional associations, the pharmaceutical and technology sectors, energy, higher education institutions and international organizations. Powers Summit 2025 will bring together key figures from business, academia and civil society to define shared national development priorities and present practical, industry-driven solutions.
Format and Key Highlights
This year’s edition of Powers Summit focuses on Security as a strategic priority for Bulgaria and the region — the security of the state, the economy, technology, energy, society and human capital. The forum will discuss the most important risks and opportunities for the country, as well as the concrete steps needed to ensure resilience, competitiveness and predictability in a time of accelerated global change.
All positions, discussions and commitments are presented publicly — to the media, industrial leaders and society. Powers Summit stands out for its transparency, real commitments and systematic monitoring of their implementation.
