Randi Zuckerberg will join the advisory board of one of the most prominent cryptocurrency exchanges - Huobi.

Randi is the sister of the well-known founder of Facebook - Mark Zuckerberg. It appears that she is more interested in blockchain technology than her brother and as of now is part of the expert advisory team of Huobi.

In her role, Randi will contribute to the development of a new public blockchain. The experts on the board will share their opinions starting from the basics to commercial modeling and industrial application.

In 2018, Huobi became the third biggest cryptocurrency exchange in the world and only two months ago it announced the creation of the Huobi Chain – an innovative blockchain ecosystem.

A statement from the exchange platform explains that the newest project aims to serve as a solid financial protocol for individuals as well as organizations and businesses. The ecosystem will consist of two chains – private and public which will be peer-to-peer and decentralized, but the public chain will stay open source.

Although Randi Zuckerberg hasn‘t been in the spotlight as much as her brother, she has become an influential figure and is as equally talented as Mark is.

The social media platform has caught the attention of the cryptocurrency world for many years now. People in the industry believe that if Facebook decides to back Bitcoin, it will result in the global adoption of the digital currency.

In June, rumors emerged that Facebook is planning to buy Coinbase - a famous cryptocurrency broker system that has 10 million users.

Mark‘s sister encouraged women to take part in the tech industry and explained why she decided to enter the world of blockchain and cryptocurrency. It is not because they would become mainstream in the future, but because currently, anyone has an even chance on the playing field.
