A member of our team spoke over a video call with the person who changed the world of financial analysis. Interviewing Caleb Hill was a very rare and unique opportunity. Caleb Hill is an Oxford graduate, Master of Economics, and one of the authors of the RJV12 algorithm and investment platform trustcapital.ltd. The algorithm allows predictions to be made on costs of securities, shares and cryptocurrencies.

Reporter: - Hello Caleb, thank you for agreeing to meet with us, please tell us how you came up with the idea of such an algorithm? How do people come up with this?

Caleb Hill: - You’re welcome. The problem is that people only see success, and all failures and futile attempts always like to stay under the radar. You admire our algorithm, but few people pay attention to the fact that it took 20 years to develop, and initially we worked on other things, and after failure switched to creating an algorithm.

Reporter: - What was the original idea ?

Caleb Hill: - Initially, we tried to teach artificial intelligence to independently predict the cost of securities, raw materials, and since the advent of cryptocurrencies, also their cost, but after many unsuccessful attempts, we realized that we could not teach the neuronet. At that time it analyzed 987 variables, but this was not enough. Success was about 4 out of 10 cases, which is clearly insufficient. Very often, the neuronet simply did not have time to analyze the situation and it already changed dramatically. After that, we switched to the idea of creating an algorithm, there were 11 unsuccessful versions, and only RJV12 became very successful. By the way, RJV11 had 8 successful forecasts out of 10, which is also not bad.

Reporter: - Stunningly Caleb, you have been working for over 20 years on an idea without giving up on it. This is a great inspiration to many people. Please tell me, as I understand you are now a very wealthy man, your algorithm is a real treasure, if I may say so, so tell me, why do you share this treasure with other people? Why did you create an investment platform?

Caleb Hill: - You may find this hard to believe but everything is very trite. I just want to help people, no matter where they are, what they do, what God they believe in, what color of their skin is - it doesn't matter. I am sure that blockchain and cryptocurrencies will change this world, it will be a real utopia where resources will not be concentrated in 1% of the population, but will be available to everyone. I believe in this, and I do everything to make it a reality.

Reporter: If you are telling the truth, it’s very commendable.

Caleb Hill: - The honest truth

Reporter: - I have no doubt of it. Tell us how your life changed after the invention of the algorithm?

Caleb Hill: - It hasn’t changed much. I'm not one of those people who love yachts, private planes, black caviar and other delights of billionaire`s life. I'm a fairly modest person, almost all of the money I earn is being donated to charities, including the fight against coronavirus.

Reporter: - You are just being humble (smiles). Our readers constantly ask the following question: what guarantees does your company have? You know, everyone is worried about their investment portfolio, especially at this time.

Caleb Hill: - First of all, the most important guarantee is our algorithm, which was used to calculate tens of thousands of operations, and the average success rate is 97.6%, the second guarantee is the insurance fund. Absolutely all deposits of each investor are insured, even in cases of some unforeseen circumstances. Everyone will get at least their own money. The third is the reputation, both my personal and the company`s altogether. I don't see any reason to doubt it.

Reporter: - Imagine that the reader does not know anything about you, and for the first time hears about your platform and algorithm. Tell us briefly how it works.

Caleb Hill: - Everything is very simple, the investor registers on our platform, makes a deposit, selects one of the 3 tariffs based on the amount of investment and the desired income and begins to receive daily accruals. The contract lasts 1 year. Again, it doesn't matter where they are or what they do. Only the English version is currently available, but we are already working on translating it into 8 languages and developing a mobile app for users' convenience.

Reporter: - It's really simple. My colleague from the editorial office requested me to ask this question as well: In his understanding, immediately after the invention of this, the world would change dramatically. Everyone may start hunting your algorithm, trying to get their hands on it. Tell me why nothing has changed? It seems like no one has even paid attention to it?

Caleb Hill: That is a very good question. To be honest,I just got the call myself. I think the point here is that first of all the algorithm itself, although it is called the algorithm, is not the secret formula of the Krabby Patty that Plankton that tried to steal in the Spongebob cartoon. You can not just find it and use it for your own purposes, it's all much more complicated. The second reason I think is that some people who even I personally explain the principle of operation to, cannot understand it and believe in the reality of the existence of such things. Even my former colleagues at Oxford were skeptical of RJV12 until they saw it with their own eyes. And third - now the focus of public attention is focused on something else, which goes all over the news. I think you understand what I mean.

Reporter: - Indeed, the entire infofield is filled with this. Tell us about your future plans, what's next?

Caleb Hill: - Helping people is a priority right now. Last week, our charitable Foundation ordered 2 million masks from China for hospitals, and we also plan to invest in pharmaceutical companies and buy tests for the virus.
Now we give almost a quarter of our income from stock transactions to charity.
