Æternity‘s Accelerator Program Starfleet Goes Live

Established in 2016, Æternityis an open-source, blockchain-based platform, built on decentralized cryptographic P2P technology. Æternity is focused on versatile smart contracts interfacing with real-world, aiming to provide higher productivity, straightforward administration, and worldwide versatility.

Yanislav Mahalov, the founder of the company, said that the Starfleet lunch is a result of extensive research and planning related to the company’s commitment to empower innovation and develop the fast-developing blockchain community around the world.

Mr. Malahov added: “We are confident that these incubator programs will accelerate the adoption of blockchain technology globally and support projects that share our vision for a future built on powerful, user-friendly decentralized applications.”

The successful projects within the Æternity Starfleet program will receive up to $250,000 in funding and will be based in the Starfleet coworking spaces.

One of Starfleet’s key partners is Software University (SoftUni), based in Sofia, Bulgaria.

Hristo Tenchev, CEO of SoftUni, believes that the program will boost the blockchain industry. He added: “With a significant concentration of technical talent and entrepreneurs, a blockchain-focused incubator program is exactly what the current ecosystem needs.”

The global incubator and accelerator program will be managed by æternity Ventures, situated in Sofia, Bulgaria.

Mr. Stoyanow also added that blockchain learning alike the blockchain space is in its early days. The advancement of the industry and the learning behind it depend on the continuously expanding global network of the finest engineers and geeks.

The main Starfleet program, which began on June 11, 2018, with a month of severe preparation and tutoring in Sofia, Bulgaria, is currently working on gathering more applications. Toward the finish of each program, each group will be given a chance to exhibit their project to a crowd of investors, thought pioneers, and blockchain specialists.
