Jules Miller

Enterprise Blockchain @ IBM, Partner @ Prose Ventures

Jules is an investor, 3-time entrepreneur and ‘intrapreneur.’ She currently runs IBM's Blockchain Garage for North America, managing a team of technical experts who use the best practices of the startup world to build out innovative enterprise blockchain solutions for the world's largest companies. She is also a Partner at LunaCap Ventures, a venture debt fund investing in military veteran, women and minority founders, and Prose Ventures, the first independent VC fund focused on legal and compliance technologies. She was previously COO of gender lens investing pioneer BRAVA Investments. Jules co-founded and led two legal tech companies: Evolve Law (acquired by Breaking Media), a community of entrepreneurs and innovators accelerating the adoption of technology in the legal industry, and Hire an Esquire, a venture-backed tech startup providing attorneys on-demand to law firms and in-house legal teams. Previously she co-founded Carbonado Group, an environmental sustainability consulting firm, and spent 7 years as an ‘intraprenuer’ helping companies including EY, Salesforce.com and Tiffany & Co. to launch and grow new business units around environmental and social responsibility. Jules earned her BA from UCLA and her MSc from The London School of Economics. She is a Kauffman Fellow and an active mentor to high school girls pursuing careers in tech through BBG Ventures’ #BUILTBYGIRLS program.
