Dr. Liu was one of the members drafting the United Nations Convention on Business and Human Rights. He is also the European Commission Strategy Consultant for the China-EU Cooperation Strategy, a member of World Economic Forum’s Global Agenda Council on Rule of Law, as well as the Global e-Sustainability Initiative (GeSI) Human Rights Committee. He has helped introduce the SA8000 Social Responsibility Standard in China which is held in high regard, particularly in public interest and non-profit sectors. He graduated from Nanjing University in 1997 with a doctorate degree and is the Founder and Chairman of the MusicLife Foundation.
