First involved in blockchain work in 2011, Dana holds a PhD in economics (The University of Glasgow, highest honors), an MBA in marketing (Harvard Business School, Baker Scholar (top 5% of class)), and a BS in physics (University of Richmond, Phi Beta Kappa). Since Dana started coding as a youth in MORTRAN and ALGOL68G, his technical skill has led Dana to co-found five businesses with four successful exits, including Cisco Capital-backed Metacloud and Warburg Pincus-backed Radnet, and he has led divisions of public companies including GTE (now Verizon) and ADC. One business Dana led grew from $10m to $450m in 5 years. He’s won a variety of awards, including 2x Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year finalist, 2x INC500, 6x INC5000, Top Forty Under 40 (where he was called "a mathematical genius"), Financial Times Global Telecoms Award for Internet Technology, ADC Engineering Excellence Award.
