Deepa Thomas-Sutcliffe is a communications & corporate social responsibility professional with over 21 years of experience. She is exploring career options in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia where her spouse is a British diplomat. In 2016, Deepa was leading Communications & CSR for Nissan Group of India as Vice President – Communications & CSR & was a member of the Nissan Management Team. Previously, she was leading the Communications Mandate for Mahindra Holidays, Mahindra Lifespaces and Mahindra Partners as General Manager, Group Communications, Mahindra Group. She also worked with members of the Mahindra Group Executive Board for International and Indian Media outreach for the World Economic Forum - India & Davos, Indo-US CEO Forum etc. She spent a decade at eBay evangelising Indian eCommerce where she lead corporate communications and eBay for Charity, the Charity fundraising platform and was a member of the India leadership team. She also led key business roles for eBay including Partnerships, Collectibles Category Management and Pop Culture. Deepa was also responsible for Corporate Communication & Charity for eBay in Philippines & Malaysia between 2010 and 2011. Deepa also lead the Asia Pacific eBay WIN (Women’s Initiative Network) in 2013 for emerging women leaders. She is an active speaker on Leadership on Communications & Leadership at industry panel discussions and business schools. She is on the PR Moment PR Guru Expert Panel where she advises young communicators on all things reputation. She has also lead Communications at Kaya Skin Clinic & Marico and worked in 2 PR Agencies – Clea PR & Good Relations at the start of her career.
