Dominik Thor

Founder of Vaultitude

Dominik Thor is the founder and CEO of Vaultitude (formerly IPCHAIN Database), a startup company focusing on using blockchain technology to better protect intellectual property rights and the only company in this field directly working with leading IP organizations such as WIPO and major international patent offices. Dominik Thor studied in Vienna and Miami and Dominik's thesis was a blueprint for SME segment of the Vienna Stock Exchange. He held positions in international banks before founding a biotech company which has a strong focus on research. A passionate entrepreneur, he is guest lecturer at the SME institute of the Vienna University of Economics and Business, writes articles for startup journals and was a mentor in Austria’s biggest startup event for students. In addition to his role at Vaultitude, he is managing partner of a small biotech company and is active as an university lecturer.
