George obtained a CySEC (Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission) Advanced Professional Competence Certificate for the Provision of Investment Services (License CN1979), back in 2009, while his passion for the field has equipped him with a spherical understanding of the business and provided him a practical hands-on experience in sales, dealing, marketing, compliance and management of Retail Forex Companies. From algorithmic trading robots to reviewing ICO whitepapers, his constant curiosity and passion to provide value in the marketplace combined with the events of the Cyprus financial crisis in 2013, introduced George to the world of blockchain technology and intrigued him into mining and trading bitcoin. Currently, he is a full-time cryptocurrency market and ICO analyst, as well as a proprietary trader and investor. He has been educating groups at local meetups regarding blockchain technology while also consulting businesses and startups on the subject. Nowadays, he is particularly interested in blockchain applications in banking the unbanked, IoT, AI and how can this be all applied in modern governance models.
