Rock Zhang knows what he wants and is goal oriented. After college, he joined one of the largest telecom companies in China. He worked as a developer and Product Manager there for six years, awarded the "National Scientific and Technological progress second prize.” He noticed that mobile internet was the next big thing, so he moved to the most prominent internet security company Qihoo 360 (NYSE: QIHU) to be the Product Manager in charge of their mobile security product line. During the two years, he was working on the product, acquired 500 million users and 70+% market share in China. Doing global business was always his dream. In 2014, he was moved to be the Global BD Director in charge of Qihoo 360’s overseas market development, which used half a year to get 50 million global users, especially in SEA and India. In July 2014 he left Qihoo 360 then to the US become an adviser of a startup called APUP Group(apusapps.com). Within five months, APUS became one of the fastest growing Mobile Internet companies in China, as well as one of China’s largest Mobile Internet companies overseas. The first version of APUS Launcher went live on July 2nd and acquired 100M users in only seven months. APUS Group has just finished B round funding $100 Million by Feb. 2015. In Oct 2015, APUS User System reached 500 million users and rated the 7th global mobile applications, and APUS Group rated the 5th global mobile developer. June 2015, he joined AnchorFree leading new product line, eight months reach 1.5M MAU from the ground up. 2016 he admitted to Stanford University Graduate School of Business Ignite program to study Innovation and Entrepreneurship. 2016 August he joins Boostinsider as Partner and Head of Product, build SocialBook.io - the influencer marketing platform from the ground up. 2018 January, he cofounds Boosto.io as Partner and Head of Product.
