Saiba Kataruka is the Marketing lead at Zilliqa Research Pte. Ltd. He is an alumnus of Oxford University and IIT Delhi and has previously served as a management consultant for IBM for coordinating international payments for a Fortune 500 client with major banks. Zilliqa is the first blockchain platform in the world to implement Sharding technology and has achieved a throughput of 2400+ transactions per second while maintaining a high degree of decentralization and security. Ziliqa is also developing SCILLA which is a formal verification friendly language, giving developers tools to prevent the incidents like DAO hack and Parity bug. The end aim is to make blockchain scalable and secure to ensure mass decentralization becomes a reality.
