Dr. Subayal Khan

Dr. Subayal Khan is working as a Research Scientist at VTT Technical Research Centre of Finland in Oulu since October 2008. His research interests include System Level Performance Evaluation of embedded systems, VLSI design, Event Driven Simulations and software architectures. He has contributed to several EU-FP6 and EU-FP7 projects. He is currently working towards his Master’s degree in International Business at the University of Waasa. He received his PHD from the department of computer systems in Tampere University of Technology “TUT”. In past two years, he has been actively involved in the area of business ecosystems, smart grids and novel paradigms in the area of distributed and parallel computing. Nowadays he is focused on strategic industry analysis and analyzing the impact of platform-based business ecosystems.
