Software entrepreneur. Managed to take one company — an object dbms — from napkin to IPO. Ranked #1 in Inc Magazine's list of fastest growing 500 companies. I now work with early stage ventures, typically on the fit between technology and market/channels. Often as a Director, occasionally as interim CEO, VP Strategy, Corporate Partnering, ... . Recent/current startups include companies in blockchain, ai data management, and IOT — as well as a couple just for fun: one building a 15-meter self-launching glider ( still working on the autonomous flight control system ). Two of these are considering a 2018 ICO as an alternative to traditional VC/CVC funding. I am working on the evolving regulatory situation and marketing/PR firms.
