Atomic coin – ATOM is a decentralized peer-to-peer payment network. It was created to eliminate
the need for third parties and lower the transaction fees. The network motto is “Even big things have
small beginnings.“ Atomic‘s network is a hybrid between the Proof of work and Proof of stake
protocols. There was no premine, and the distribution of atoms is equal. Block time is 60 seconds
with a block reward of 600 coins. The number of total ATOMS in circulation is 6,600,000. It is easy to
set up on a PC or a mobile device. AtomicCoin was created in 2016 but unfortunately, there is no
further information as the project‘s website is not working and their developers are gone.
