BitQuark is the newborn product of merging Bitcoin with the hashing power of Quarkcoin. The Quark algorithm is highly secure and has nine hashing rounds and six functions (Blake, BMW, Grostl, JH, Keccak, Skein). BitQuark is 20 times faster than Bitcoin with a block time of 30 seconds and a block reward of 2.5 BTQ. It retargets through DarkGravityWave 3 and halves every four years. BitQuark is a CPU/GPU/ASIC mined and is power efficient. It was released in 2014 with no premining. The total coin supply is 21,000,000 BTQ.
