CoolCoin is an Australian cryptocurrency exchange platform, which operates on a crypto-crypto
basis. Initially, it was set similar to Bitcoin but uses the Green ID verification system to verify its
customers. This way they are allowed to take further action on the network and anonymous trading
is disabled. It was primarily designed to provide two types of trading accounts – Original and Activity.
The platform was produced for high-volume traders and has reduced trading and withdrawal fees for
some instruments. Launched in September 2017, the currency offers an exchange service for more
than 20 altcoins on the market. Furthermore, the charged trading and withdrawal fees are low, while
crypto deposits are free of charge. A unique feature is the two typed account system which offers an
original account and a lower fee activity one. A significant disadvantage is that the platform provides
only Bitcoin trading. Another restriction is the region-limitation CoolCoin imposes which means only
Australia-settled people can participate on the platform.
