Franko (FRK) is a decentralized, peer-to-peer blockchain that serves for payments. It has been around since May 2013, so it is a cryptocurrency with a long history. On that platform, people can use FRK – frankos as a financial instrument. There are three characteristics of Franko that distinguish it from the rest of the cryptocurrencies. 1. It is open. Any user who has a stake in FRK can make entries in the ledger. 2. Decentralized. In contrast to the typical bank system or another intermediate, here the public maintains the platform.3. High level of security, thanks to the encryption method. Franko works on the Proof of Task method. To receive FRK, users can mine it or finish a particular job. Those jobs can be making data fault tolerant, DNS, creating smart contracts and more. The Franko Wallet is downloadable for Android, MacOS, and Windows. The source code is available on GitHub too. The Franko platform has plans to be selling different products in exchange for FRK.
