iDice is created with the idea to become the first blockchain based, mobile gambling casino game in the world. iDice is a dice gambling DApp or a decentralized application run by many users via trustless protocols and is powered by the Ethereum blockchain network. iDice was started as a small website with no budget for marketing, but its popularity has grown due to that players are allowed to place bets with units of Ether coins. Hence, there have been provided a variety of games for Ether players. For a user to play a game, it is required to have an Ethereum wallet that would allow the individual controlling of the address. Funds are sent back directly via ETH smart contract code, as recommended wallets for use by the iDice team are Mist, MetaMask, and MyEtherWallet. The betting contracts of iDice are viewable on the blockchain and fully open-source. Bets on the house are fully automated and fair by holding iDice tokens. These tokens are with symbol ICE and have been first released in June 2017 with a total supply of 2 071 013 ICE coins. The ICE tokens are a standard ERC20 type and can be exchanged back to Bitcoin or Ethereum via cryptocurrency exchanges. They have functionality implemented to the iDice platform, as ICE token holders take advantage of the profits earned.
