MUSIC is a music-streaming based platform that is built on the blockchain technology and supports the designing, distribution, and consumption of music in a shared community-based economy. Listeners can stream songs from their favorite performers, tax, and ad-free, while musicians are compensated fairly.MUSIC uses a fully-decentralized peer-to-peer based platform similar to Bitcoin and Ethereum. Transactions throughout the MUSIC platform are completely transparent, and users’ privacy and identity are always protected. The synchronization between a free platform and musician-payments is accomplished by leveraging the Blockchain to cut out intermediaries and implement a specific system called Universal Basic Income or UBI that supports both users of MUSIC and performers. UBI is an economic model that ensures fair-rewarding in proportion to a user’s contribution.
