Populous World is a blockchain solution for businesses, and it allows peer-to-peer payment of financial invoices. The platform uses smart contracts utilizing XBRL data. Smart contracts reduce the likelihood of errors and fraud occurring in manual contracts. Through the blockchain technology, anyone can participate without geographical limitations and high fees. Invoice sellers and invoice investors will be able to work together using the fiat-pegged token called Poken, which is Ethereum ERC20 compliant. They are a customized, stable currency pegged 1:1 with the national government currencies. All the transactions between invoice buyers and sellers will be done with the use of Pokens. XBRL (eXtensible Business Reporting Language) is an information exchange standard freely available for any business. Companies provide their financial statements to government regulators, and XBRL uses them to standardize the given data. Currently, there are 3 million companies in the XBRL database.
