Primecoin is a brand new type of PoW. It is a p2p (peer-to-peer) cryptocurrency which is cryptographically secured. Primecoin is circulated via a decentralized market. It was derived from the Bitcoin blockchain. The advantages of Primecoin offer not only high levels of security but generate interest in mathematical research. Compared to Bitcoin, the Primecoin network can be used in multiple ways.It looks for unique chains known as bi-twin and Cunningham chains. They are both based on prime numbers, but their distribution is currently not so well understood, mainly because their infinite existence is yet to be proven.
