Skrilla is a cryptocurrency built on top of the Ethereum blockchain. It is used as payment means for the Skrilla fantasy e-sports platform. As of 2018, the project operates in Australia (where it was developed) and the US, with European and Asian markets in the works. One of the ways for users to obtain coins is to compete against each other in contests and win them. Some of the contests entry fees are also paid in SKR. Social sharing (growing the network), partner promotions and affiliation are other ways to get tokens. Members of the community get early access to exclusive events for e-Sports all over the world as well as live coverage. As of June 2018, the platform is running, but some features are still under development, and there are plans for doing so in the next year.
