Sphere Coin is a decentralized peer-to-peer network for payments. It serves as an appreciating token for long-term holders and traders. The trading ticker of Sphere Coin is called SPHR. This coin is secured through the use of a hybrid proof type that presents a combination of Proof of Work and Proof of Stake (PoW/PoS) consensus blockchain. SPHR is built on the scrypt algorithm, and there were 3,082,940.0 SPHR supplied in total. Sphere Coin has been first released on 6 May 2015 with the idea to serves as an investment/payment asset, developed to incorporate features typical for the first and second generation tokens (Bitcoin and LiteCoin), but with the concept to upgrade them.
