Zilliqa is the newest technology innovation related to blockchain framework services. It aims to
improve the capability, usability, and operability of existing blockchain system services. Zilliqa is
designed to scale in an open-source, permission-less distributed network securely. The system
process transactions in parallel through a division of the network into several smaller networks which
are called shards.
Zilliqa’s blockchain applies the sharding methodology with a protocol making the network more
practical. It enables secure data-driven apps meeting all scaling requirements of financial algorithms
and machine learning.
The unique network has been under development and improvement for the past two years. The
team behind the project is driven to expand the capability of the network even more as ground-
breaking deployments commercially are powered by their technology. Also, Zilliqa has accomplished
to manage processing more transactions per second as more mining nodes join the network,
something not provided by past blockchain protocols.
