Yahoo Finance makes a bit step in the crypto world, adding Litecoin, Bitcoin, and Ethereum as trading options.

The platform provides its users with statistics for multiple cryptocurrencies, but currently only allows sales and purchases of the 3 crypto leaders.

That came as a great surprise and cryptocurrency enthusiasts such as Antony Pompliano, the founder of Morgan Creek Digital shared the news on Twitter. The team of developers believes the integration is a huge step towards crypto adoption.

Bitcoin continues its high streak while still trading above the $7,000 point, after it broke it on August 28th. Currently, BTC is trading around the $7, 043 mark.

Ethereum, on the other hand, is down by 1.36 percent and is being exchanged at around $290. Litecoin marks a price decrease of 1.74% and is trading around $62. The total market capitalization is over 3 million dollars and the 24-hour trading volume has hit 222 million dollars.

Earlier this year, in March, Yahoo‘s Japanese headquarters headlined the crypto and financial news by announcing they will be able to start a cryptocurrency exchange platform in April 2019. Yahoo Japan wanted to buy 40 percent of BitARG Exchange a platform that is situated in Tokyo.

The executives will be ready to launch Yahoo Exchange next year.
